The Word repentance in the Greek word "metanoia" which simply means "a change of mind".meta means "Change" and noia refers to your mind.

There are people who have this idea that repentance means groveling in the dirt and condemning themselves until they feel they have sufficiently earned God's forgiveness through their contrition.

My question is, how condemned and sorrowful do they need to be before they have genuinely repentance? And after they have repented, should they fail in the same area, does it mean that they did not really repent completely the first time round? I do not for one moment doubt d sincerity of people who believe in repentance this way.

However, you can be sincere in your content but still be sincerely wrong when repentance is not base on right believing that leads to inward heart transformation.

What am saying is that you can beat your breast sorrowfully put on sackcloth and ashes, cry ur eyeballs out at the altar, and still go home unchanged. Sorrow doesn't equal transformation.

Repentance simply mean change of mind, change your mind and come to Jesus. You can cry and cry yet your mind is not change. It is just EMOTIONAL.

When you hear d gospel d best thing to do is to respond(faith) to it. All u need is a change of mind. It not beating ur self, cry up and down that will lead you to repentance.

The good news is Christ came and paid for all ur sins forever. If u believe it change your mind and turn away from the World, come to Jesus and receive Him.

Stay blessed.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23).

Salvation can't be earned by any amount of good works, because God doesn't give eternal life based on anything u do. Jesus Christ did everything that needed to be done through His death, burial, and resurrection. You receive eternal life by faith in Him alone!

No one deserves to be saved because of their good works.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Rom. 3:23).

God doesn't deal with u in proportion to ur sin. If u miss heaven by an inch, then you've missed it by a mile. Either u are completely righteous in His sight or you've not. It's that simple! No matter how good u think u are, you've been bad enough to miss heaven!

The Lord explicitly stated that He's not just a way to d Father but d way! "Jesus saith unto him, I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).

Acts 4:12 declares, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is NONE other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Either you come to God the Father through faith in His Son Jesus Christ or u don't come at all.

If He doesn't have any memory of d things that broke our fellowship, why should we? That isn't God condemning us; it's Satan trying to take advantage of us!

In Hebrews 8:12 we read,
"For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. "

I've heard people say, "I don't know if d Lord will heal me or not. I've sinned. I've failed." But God said, "I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. "

If you've asked Him to forgive you, He doesn't remember that u ever did anything wrong. In other words, d believer must be willing to forgive himself just as d Father is willing to forgive him.

Many people have robbed themselves of faith because they are not willing to forgive themselves.
They hold themselves in a state of condemnation, and it robs them of their faith. If that is u, repent (change ur mind) because God will never ever remember ur sins again because Jesus has already paid for it.

We also got to know that God became flesh in the world, died for us, went to hades and rose again. After the resurrection He said something to all us. We want to look at that and other related issues. Let's look at Matthew 28:18
" Then Jesus came to them and said, " All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."

Jesus actually won back the authority God had given mankind, which man misused. In the very next verse He said, " Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, ........" In effect He was saying, I now have all the authority and I'm sharing it with you.

The God-given authority that was given to man will never pass solely to the devil. It is now shared between us and the Lord Jesus, and He will remain faithful regardless.

Satan is absolutely powerless. He has no ability to do anything in your life except what he deceives you in and what you voluntarily yield to. If you give him the authority in your life, you may suffer personally for it. You're the one who has power and authority, so why the fear?

God has given it to you, and the only thing that keeps you from exercising it is that you haven't yet taken your thoughts captive. You haven't used these spiritual weapons to renew your mind and to realize what you have. He said He has given us power to even trample upon snakes and scorpions.

It's my prayer that as you meditate on this, God will reveal all the power He has granted you to you. I pray that you will come to know that you're the one Satan trembles at. You shouldn't be trembling at Satan because if he had power over you, James 4:7 wouldn't have said, if you resist the devil, he will flee from you. Stay tuned for the next series as we go into spiritual warfare.

Stay blessed.
One will emphatically say that even heavens rejoiced when satan was thrown out of heaven to the earth and the devil having great wrath because he knew he hath but a short time ( Revelation 12:12). But what did the Bible really say? Revelation 12:9 ( emphasis laid)

" And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which DECEIVETH the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

Did u see that? The Bible never said Satan who has power over world but who deceives the world.

God had ownership of everything but He gave dominion or authority, over the earth to physical human beings. Satan has never had the right and power to rule over the earth. He took it through deceiving man to sin. God never put Satan in a position above mankind. The only reason Satan has ever been able to oppress, dominate, or cause the problems he does is because people yield their God-given authority to him.

Satan is an absolutely defeated foe. He has zero power to do anything. The devils goal is to keep you ignorant of the truth and believing his lies. Let's look at what Apostle Paul said to the church of Corinth.
2 Corinthians 11:3
" But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpents beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ." The devil always tries to make us think that everything is harder than it really is.

Jesus came to this world to demonstrate and He exercised God given authority. The devil knowing that he has no power over Him tried to tempt Him but never succeeded. Satan lost every battle with Him. Jesus took our sins, died for us, went to hades, rose again and said something interesting to all believers ( Find out more).
We tend to give satan too much power than he deserves in our life. Maxwell, are you saying we shouldn't recognize the devil? Certainly not!

The devil is a factor no doubt, but not because he's superior in power and authority. Let's look at Ephesians 1:19 ( emphasis stressed)- " And what is exceeding greatness of His POWER to us- ward who BELIEVE, according to the working of His MIGHTY POWER." The believer carries power than we can possibly imagine. The power is in us.

Christians have been led to believe that we are fighting a being whose power is superior to ours, and we are able to just cope with him. Let's look at what the Scripture is saying. Ephesians 6:12- "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

So satan is a factor, he has hierarchy of principalities and powers that we're dealing with, but in the verse 11 the Bible said " Put on the WHOLE ARMOR of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." Did you notice something here? The only power satan really has against us is DECEPTION. He deceives people and they yield to him through fear. This is what actually empowers him.

Satan takes a person's own fear and uses it against them. In Genesis 3 we see that when the devil came against the woman, he didn't come with a superior force because he knew he didn't really have power to force her to do anything. He used deception to tempt Adam and Eve to sin against God.

After God created the heavens and earth and all that is in it, he created man then after and said, "Let them have dominion..... over the earth." If God has given mankind such great power, why then the fear. Find out more.
The Ten Commandments are really just d tip of d iceberg; there are literally thousands of rules to keep in d Law!
Jesus used several of these commandments in an attempt to show d rich young ruler we read about in Mark 10 that he would never be holy enough for eternal life on his own.

"Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother" (Mark 10:19).
This young man genuinely thought he could do something to earn eternal life. Doing and receiving by faith are very different from each other indeed! The Law is like a plate glass window. Whether u break it with a BB or a boulder, it's broken!
"For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all" (James 2:10).
God doesn't tell u to do ur best and He'll make up d difference with mercy. Either u live holy and receive eternal life because u earned it (which is not possible), or u receive it by faith as a gift.

This deceived young ruler needed to quit trying and start trusting. In an effort to convince d Lord that he deserved eternal life, he told Jesus that he'd kept all of d commandments since his youth. Impossible! This man's attitude had him going straight to hell. Loving d young ruler, Jesus tried to bring him out of this deception.
"Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions" (Mark 10:21-22).

The Lord touched this man's true "god" when He instructed him to sell all of his possessions and give to d poor. The rich young ruler wasn't willing to lay them down and make Jesus Lord, because he'd broken d very first command:
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me" (Ex. 20:3).
God is not against u having money, but He's against money having u! Giving away all of ur possessions to d poor is not a requirement for salvation.
When Zacchaeus, another wealthy man, met Jesus and repented, he declared he'd give half of all he had to d poor (Luke 19:1-9).

Jesus never asked this of him, but Zacchaeus volunteered to do it because his heart had changed. The issue Jesus is driving at is who or what do u trust in as ur "god"/God.
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth" (Mark 10:17-20).

A rich young ruler asked Jesus, "What must I do to inherit eternal life?" He wanted to know how he could earn his way into heaven. Notice how the young man called Jesus "Good Master" at first. When the Lord countered him by saying that only God is good, he dropped "Good" and referred to Jesus simply as "Master."

By this we know he didn't see Jesus as God. Jesus Christ was God in the flesh. He wasn't just a good man who gave us a tremendous example of humility and love. He was literally God incarnate!

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh Justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory" (l Tim. 3:1)

Either Jesus was a deceiver, or He is who He said He was. No man who claimed to be God-but actually wasn't-should ever be considered "good." However, there's more verifiable historical evidence proving that Jesus Christ lived, died, and Julius Caesar ever lived! was resurrected than that.

Every cult and religion on earth acknowledges Jesus' existence, but they stop short of calling Him God. They'll grant Him the status of a prophet or an inspired teacher sent from God, but not Deity Himself. The rich young ruler did the same by dropping "Good" and simply calling Jesus "Master."

He just couldn't bring himself to believe that this Man standing before him was God. Apart from Jesus being the Son of God, there's no way to the Father! Everything hinges on His divinity. The Lord Himself stated "that all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him" (John 5:23).

If Jesus wasn't God, then His life wasn't worth more than any other man's life, and He couldn't have atoned for the whole human race. However, since He was God in the flesh, His life was worth more than all mankind-making His sacrifice eternally sufficient for all!
In the first year of King Belshazzar, Daniel had a dream.
We want to critically look into the dream and pray to God for a better understanding.

Let's look at the dream.
Vs. 2 Daniel said: 'In my vision at night I looked, and there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the great sea.

Vs. 3 Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out the sea

Daniel was very troubled about this dream. He therefore inquired about the interpretation of the dream.

Vs. 17 " The four great beasts are four kings that will rise from the earth.

Daniel was particular worried about the fourth beast which was different from all the others so he enquired about the beast which has ten horns as well.

Vs. 23 ' He gave me this explanation: " The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth....
Vs. 24 The ten horns are the ten kings who will come from this kingdom.
After them another king will arise...
Vs 25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress His holy people and try to change the set times and the laws....

The questions are very clear. Has that fourth Kingdom already arisen or yet to arise? Who are the kings the dream talked about? Who is this eleventh king that will even go ahead to speak against the Most High?
How is this dream so important to us?

Vs. 26 " But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away....

Vs. 27 Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom..

After everything, God's people will live peacefully without any oppressions. This is the kingdom we are eagerly waiting for that is the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 4:8 (emphasis mine)

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy- MEDITATE on these things."

In our previous study, we got to know some ways in which meditation on God's Word can be done effectively.

Let me emphasize one more time that the general and ultimate goal of meditation on God's Word is to internalize and personalize the Scriptures so that its truth can affect how we think, our attitudes and how we live, as well as our actions.

After knowing the various ways in which meditation can be done, we have to also know that there are three things that must go together in meditation on God's Word: READING, REFLECTING AND RESPONDING.

The ultimate purpose of these three are the great purposes of the meditation;
Observation- what does the text say?
Interpretation- what does the text mean?
Application- how does the text apply to my life?

In period of meditation on God's Word, there's the need for careful reading. Reading should involve; reading reverently (slowly), reading repeatedly, reading to understand, etc.

Reading for the purpose of meditation should be a conscious effort and not a lazy way or just reading through just as the way we read news papers. Reading through the Bible quickly without taking time to ponder over it becomes somehow ineffective.

After reading, there's a need for reflection. Reflection basically is the mind and heart at work, thinking over and concentrating on what the eyes have seen.

Reflection should have the intensity of meditation, whereby your body, soul, spirit are all connected. It is your born-again spirit that will help you to better understand the Words of God's with the help of the Holy Spirit.

After reading and reflecting, there is the need for responding. Responding is the process whereby we make personal application of observation and understanding of the text.

Through meditation we internalize that we may personalize whatever we read and reflected.

Let's take an example for final analysis.

Ephesians 1:6 reads, " Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ."

After reading slowly through this verse, you reflect for understanding that God had blessed us with everything we require ( power, anointing, giftings etc). You then personalize the verse to mean God has blessed me with all that I need in my spirit, the only thing left is for it to manifest in the natural/physical realm. This understanding will propel you to move by faith to release what is in your spirit.

It's my prayer that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus even as you meditate on His Word daily, Amen.

Stay blessed.......

Psalms 63:6
" When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches."

In the previous study, we got to know that meditation is the art of reflection, of pondering and going over a matter in one's mind. It is very important we recognize that we cannot ignore MEDITATION from all the process by which we learn and apply the Word of God. Meditation on God's.Word is very crucial for every Christian.

Meditation involves a whole process of reading and observing a portion of Scripture in order to seek both its meaning and application. Meditation can be done in various ways for a successful meditation. The following are suggestions for effectively meditating on God's Word. I will like to restrict to just three ways on how meditation can be done.

Meditation can be done from TOPICAL STUDY. This implies choosing a topic to ponder over. For example, you can take a topic like Salvation. Define the word from the Greek, Hebrew or a good dictionary. Find out the root word from which it is derived. Consider and ponder over the context of verses and that will lead you to other related topics. For example for salvation you can get other topics like eternal life, no condemnation in Christ, etc.

Meditation can also be done from EXPOSITIONAL STUDY that is a verse by verse study of a book of the Bible. The key here is to ponder and think over a book for so long that you become familiar with its content. This involves strategically reading the the verses and chapters of the book you are meditating on. You can therefore take the whole book of Romans and meditate on it verse by verse.

Another way of meditating is to meditate from PARAGRAPHS in the Bible. When an author changes the subject of emphasis in their writing, they usually begin a new paragraph. You can notice that most of the Bible we normally read are dismantled in paragraphs. You can use that as a guide for effective meditation on God's Word. For example if you take the NIV Bible Ephesians 2 is divided into two separate paragraph; made alive in Christ and Jew and Gentile reconciled through Christ.

In all your meditation period, never ignore the presence of the Holy Spirit because He will give you all the understanding you require.
There's still more to cover

Stay blessed.......
" Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all."

Very often, we are told to meditate on God's Word everyday. I remember one lady asked me this question, ' how can I meditate on God's Word and what is the general objective of the meditation on God's Word.

Before we look at this and other related issues, let's first look at the meaning of meditation.
Meditation means the art of focusing one's thoughts: to ponder, think on, muse.

To meditate means to muse over, ponder, to plan in the mind, to purpose, or to intend. Meditation generally consists of reflective thinking or contemplation, usually on a specific subject to discern meaning.

There are reasons for meditation on God's Word.
Two reasons for meditation on God's Word are to ponder over correct knowledge, also referred to as renewing of the mind and to contact God behind His Word through prayer, praise and mediation. Meditation on God's Word involves becoming detached from the controlling and hindering influences of the world.
After detachment, then one can attach to the Living God through Christ our Lord.
This implies that we might through faith and transformed values, experience the sufficiency of the SAVIOUR and reach out to a hurting and confused world in need of the Living Jesus Christ.

Meditation in the Bible means reflective thinking on Biblical truth so that God is able to talk to us through Scriptures and through the thoughts that come to mind as we are reflecting on the Word.
It is very sad that MEDITATION ON GOD'S WORD is fast becoming a lost art among many Christians. We are always too busy doing other things and relegating our Bibles and Christian books to the bottom. No wonder people spend time to read jokes but gross over devotions with the word ' IT'S TOO LONG.'

I pray after this series, people will recognize the importance of meditation on God's Word.

May your name be praised forever.

Agreement is a powerful tool for development in every aspect of life. When there is no agreement in a group thing, failure is bound to occur.

The Holy Trinity have agreement and that is we are benefiting from the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. "For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree." 1 John 5: 7-8 (ESV)

In the same manner, those who are able to agree with the Holy Spirit are those who manifest His power most effectively. Two entities cannot walk together if there is no agreement between them.

If we agree as children of God, He becomes happy with us. Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:19 (ESV).

Having established this fact that agreement is good, must we agree on everything? Definitely not.

Before you agree with someone, you must have appreciated the common goal of that union.
You must agree on what is you are genuinely convinced about. This will help you take responsibility even if the other entity is not around.

As Christians in this generation, there is this man we must always agree with, The Holy Spirit. Until you agree with the Holy Spirit, your Christianity is questionable.

I will end for today. Just ponder over this few thoughts elaborated above.

Enjoy weekend in the Lord. We are blessed.
Glory and Honour be unto you oh Lord, my provider and my everything.

Christianity is a lifestyle but not just any lifestyle. Christianity is a lifestyle that is based on the word of God. It simply means doing away with old lifestyle and living the word of God.

I had a chat with a lady yesterday and she was like Christianity is how you live your own life. I was so amazed when she made the statement. When I told her it's a lifestyle you portray to manifest the word of God in you, she didn't want to succumb.

In this last days, let us be watchful so that we are not swayed away by the workings of the enemy. The enemy will work through people who are closer to you like your best friends, siblings, parents and like.

All we can do is to allow the Holy Spirit to work through us because without that our lives will be worthless.

If we do not bear fruit, we shall be cutoff, gathered and burned. Let us strive to know about the Holy Spirit. This is the only way we can really understand and appreciate His ministry.

It is true that, how you perceive a person influences the level of respect and honour you accord him/her.

Please let us align ourselves to the teachings of the Holy Spirit. This is because he can assist you to know the truth of God from the lies of the enemy.

Brethren, may the Lord my God strengthen you and give you more wisdom to recognize errors that are entering the "Christiandom".
Glory to the Father In Heaven. Your name oh Lord will I ever mention to all generations.

Brethren, I want to draw your attention toissue a serious issue that is battling with Christianity in this our generation which we must be very careful of.

There are men and women of the devil mixing up with men and women of God. Some individuals claim they are people of God meanwhile they are not applying the principles laid down by Jesus Christ.
Our Lord came to demonstrate how we should imitate him so why do we go doing different.

Some people (men and women) of God take the scripture and massage it suit their own parochial interest which in actual sense should not be the case.

We should not forget that Jesus Christ mentioned to us in the scripture that in the last days, many will be deceived by wrong doctrines."And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many." - Matthew 24:11 (KJV).

Mr. Stephen Abban, a deacon in my church once said "if you want to know the number of interpretation to the bible, count the number of Churches around you." Everyone seems to have his or own interpretation to the bible.

Jesus again told us to be extra careful so that we are not carried away by those false teachers and prophets as we wait for Him and the throne.

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." -Matthew 7:15 (KJV).

Before we can identify them we need to expose ourselves to reading the word of God and also allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us.

Because they copy direct (photocopy) from the Kingdom of God, it is difficult to identify them with our own might.

We shall kindly end here today. May the Lord grant us the ability to flee from false Christians, prophets, teachers and the like.
Father in Heaven, I praise you for the great and marvelous things you have done for me and the people around me.

Waiting is ability to patiently endure the necessary pressure in order to get a particular thing.

The problem we have today in this generation is the quest for fast-track solutions to problems or needs and wants.

The ability to wait shows your level of maturity. If you know that what you are waiting for is worth waiting for, there is no need to go searching for other alternatives.

If you do not wait as you have been ordered or instructed, you will end causing bad situation in and around your life.

When God promised Abraham that many nations will be his descendants, he couldn't wait for that moment but he listened to Sarah and I believe we all know the implications today.

Waiting for your promise from the Lord requires total submission to his instructions. You cannot decide to do your own things and say that you are waiting for the promise of God. You will be greatly disappointed.

When Jesus promised the disciples that he shall send a comforter after he has departed to the Father, He told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem. They obeyed and waited in preparation for the promise to be fulfilled. "And, being assembled together with [them], commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, [saith he], ye have heard of me." - Acts 1:4 (KJV)
In Acts 2, the promise finally into fulfilment after they have waited in preparation.

Inasmuch as we wait for our various promises from the Lord, we must be careful that we are in real preparation for the promise.

Let us note that between a promise and the fulfilment, there is preparation. Without preparation, the waiting is worthless.

I pray to God to grant us the ability to wait for Him in absolute preparation because that is how we can get to see our promises come true.

Brethren, have a great day in the Lord even as you look out for the ways to prepare yourself for His promises.

Good morning Jesus, Good morning Lord, Good morning Holy Spirit. I'm highly blessed to be counted among the living and also seeing a new month.

In our last publication, we established the fact that one can be freed but not be saved. You can be in the church but still not be saved.

Today, let us look at some characteristics of the unsaved. I trust that the Holy Spirit will speak to us this day because truely we cannot do without him.

If you are saved, you begin to bear the fruit of the spirit. Let us look at this scripture.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."- Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)

Let us note that the scripture said fruit but not fruits. This simply means that it is a single fruit like a mango which has so many nutrients in it. The nutrients of the fruit of the Spirit are what has been spelled out there.

If one is truly saved by Christ and live in the flesh, it clearly shows the status of the person's Christian life.

If you admit that you are a Christian and you do not manifest what has been stated in the above, then I suggest that you should recheck if you have been truly born again.

Brethren, let us avail ourselves to the Holy Spirit so that we fully bear the fruit of the Spirit for this will help to save many souls for the Lord.

Have a wonderfully made month in the Lord. May this month be a blessing to you and all people around.
Happy new month.
Father in heaven, I worship and adore you because without you, Life will remain useless for me.

Brethren, today is Friday and I want to share with you the need to disentangle ourselves from the world and totally surrender to Jesus and conform to his principles.

It is so sad to know that many people are in the house of God but are not really saved. Salvation comes from within.
Let us check the meanings of free and save.
According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, save means to keep (someone or something) safe or to stop (someone or something) from dying or being hurt, damaged, or lost. I think this is enough.

Now, let us look at how it explained 'free'. It means to release (someone or something) from being physically held or blocked /to cause or allow (someone or something) to stop having or being affected by something unpleasant, painful, or unwanted.

So you see the difference clearly now. Many people are in the church but are not saved although they have been freed from the camp of the enemy, from captivity. One may be born in a christian home but have never confessed Jesus as their Lord and personal saviour.

If you are freed, it is advisable to seek for salvation because that is ultimate aim of freeing you and I from the destroyer.

If you are saved, there are some characteristics that is identified in you. I will point out that later to all of us.

Let me end by saying that anyone who has not received Christ as the Lord and personal saviour through utterly confession is not saved, although he or she may be free.

Romans 10:10 says "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (KJV)

Enjoy the weekend in the Lord and stay blessed.
Glory to God Almighty For seeing us through the night and granting us another wonderfully made Thursday.

There are ten commandments from the Lord to the Israelites which I believe we are all much aware that it was given through one of the greatest leaders that ever lived, Moses.

When we take the old testament into consideration, there is no doubt that all the commands that were given to Moses and the Israelites as a whole were about love.

It is that we are loving God Almighty and our neighbours as well. It is the primary aim of the Lord that we love him with our all. Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' - Matthew 22:37

What shows that you love God is simply by being obedient to His words. Jesus once said "If you love me, obey my commandments" - John 14:15

Also, there is the need to love one another in every situation. The later part of the ten commandments talks about loving one another. This is what Jesus confirmed in Mark 12: 31 "The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself..."

If you are highly anointed and there is no love, how can that anointing affect your community positively. Remember that you are anointed to help the brethren.

What I want to leave you with this morning is that whenever you are doing something, pause a little and ask if it is expressing love to God and also will it show love to my neighbour?

May the Lord grant us the grace to sincerely love more. Stay blessed brethren.
We Give you glory as we know honour you, Oh Lord.

Let us read this short story

Once, there was a father who two sons, one called Simon and the other Ben. He loved all of them with so much love and compassion.

He did everything they wanted for them and the children in return respected their dad.

One they need to pay for some expenses in their education. The father paid the expenses for them without any hesitation. When Simon returned, he as usual went to daddy and said "Father, I thank you so much for all you've been doing for me."
Ben does not remember the last he said "Thank you daddy".

When Simon turned, father surprised him with a brand new house and told him, "...for being grateful to what I have been doing for you, this is your 18th birthday."
Two years later, Ben turned 18, there was a big party for him just like it was done for his elder brother and that was the end of it.

Ben went to daddy at dawn and asked, "Father, I haven't received my super gift for my 18th birthday yet. Please why?"

Father answered and said "You are not moving out yet, you have to learn to be grateful."

Brethren, being grateful opens doors for greater things to come our way. There is the need to be forever grateful to the Lord Almighty.

Always let us be grateful to the Lord so as to unlock answers to our chain of requests we put before Him.

1Thessalonians 5:18 says "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

Have a blessed day in the Lord and do not forget to say "Thank you"

Glory be to the Lord God who has granted us another wonderful day full of joy.

Faithfulness simply means been loyal in every aspect of our lives without any form of compromise with the ungodly. It also means doing what you are supposed to do with love and compassion.

How can one be faithful in his or her field of endeavour ? To be faithful in what you do, you firstly have to understand what is that you are doing. If you understand the reasons for doing a particular thing, I believe it will help you to be loyal to it.

If you understand that when you worship the Lord with all your heart and might, you will not miss heaven, I believe you would do that well. And this is a reason why do backslide in their christian walk.

I believe you remember the parable of the servants who were given talents and later accounted for it. You don't have to compare your gift with someones own because everyone shall account for his or own gift that has been given by the Lord.

Also, to be faithful to God Almighty, you need to constantly renew your relationship with and by so doing you remind yourself of the promises that awaits you.
One of the routes to a successful life is faithfulness. It is written in Luke 16:10 that "He that is faithful in least is also faithful in that which is much..."

This simply means if you are trusted with a 'lesser' task and you do it well, it is logical to assume you can easily handle the greater work if you are given.

If for instance you are given the work of an organizer and you do it lazily in the organisation, you will not see anything like promotion but may be an indefinite leave.

This moment I want to encourage you that whatever good you find doing and you know it will glorify your maker, do it with all your best. This is because that is the route to greatness in your life.

Have a blessed day in the Lord and remember to live for Christ.
The Grace of God is enough for us.

Oh Lord, the strength of my life. Reign in my life forever more.

The Grace of God is made manifest in our lives day in and day out.
How then should we desire to leave the presence of the Lord where we can always enjoy the Grace.

The Grace enables us to do what we cannot do with our own little understanding and strengths.

The Lord told Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12: 9 that His grace is sufficient for us.

Therefore when we are weak the Lord's strength is made perfect among us.

May the grace of the Lord continue to strengthen us.

Good morning brethren and stay blessed.

There is no doubt that the Lord is the King of kings. There is absolutely no one exactly like Him.

You see, many Christians are adamant on the things of God especially their knowledge of the word that made us who are.

The word is the truth. That is Jesus said in his teachings that we shall know and the truth shall set us free. This simply means that one can never be freed unless he or she know the word of God.

But let us look at something here. Do you know that there is a difference between knowing something and understand it ?

Knowing (literally) the word of God alone is not enough for you. We must stive to understand the imports of the word. We must desire to understand the purposive meaning of the scripture.

When I checked for the meaning of Know, the Merriam Webster says that "to have (some sort of information ) in mind. The other defonition is "to understand something."
You cannot say you know the word without understanding it.

The reason why we must know the word is that it doesn't just give us life but it is life to us. It is the daily meal. The word keeps us going as the sons and daughters of the most high.

Two simple ways we can know (understand ) the word are mentioned below.

Read and meditate on the word of God daily before you go out and before you go to bed.

Allow the fellowship of the Holy Spirit day and night. Let Him explain the word to you because do not have absolute interpretation of the word.

Please ponder over these few words that you have read this moment.

I pray that God Himself will explain to you better the scripture and pour His blessings upon our lives.

Power and might belongs to our God, The creator of heaven and earth.

There are only two places you can spend eternal life or eternal condemnation.
Every living being will definitely be in one of these place. So we must therefore begin to make preparation towards where we shall be going.

The fact of the matter is that you do not have a choice on the day the partitioning will be done. There is nothing like in-between too.

The tickets you need to spend eternity with the Lord are holiness and purity. The Lord said without holiness, no one can see him. "But as he who has called you is holy, so be holy in all manner of conduct. Because it is written, You will be holy; for I am holy."- 1 Peter 1:15 and 16.

Holiness requires that we refrain from all forms of sins. Ranging from what we call simple lies to worse form of a sin you could imagine.

In order to be holy, we need not to conform with the previous life thus 'the old man'. We were living some evil life when christ gave us the grace to become his siblings.

It is a choice also to make the attempt to be holy before the Lord. We must make that decision to follow him entirely with our all.

Another thing is that we must imitate Christ. We are humans and therefore should not follow any human being because two blind people cannot lead each other. We must desist from comparing ourselves and focus wholly on Christ.

We must obey the word of God to enhance our walk with Him because it is through this that we can become holy.
Be reminded that one can be anointed and still be unholy before the Lord. So let us be careful and not confuse anointing with holiness. They are two different things.

It is my prayer that the Holy Spirit will fellowship with us so we can be holy before the Lord.

So I ask again that where will you spend eternity?
